About Us

We're just a couple pool guys.

And one of us has more time than he know what to do with.

Well, actually Melinda Bailey isn't a guy. She was a participant in this year's Women's U.S. Open. So she can play a little.

Michael LaLumiere, on the other hand, is the worst player in the monthly 1-pocket tournament at Kolby's in Tempe, Arizona. Melinda can give Michael many balls playing straight pool. But Michael thinks he can give Melinda the breaks in 1-pocket. Good luck with that Mike.

Junior Partner

We've added Abie Padilla to our team. Melinda needed someone to get her coffee. I needed someone on staff I could beat at pool. Classic Win-Win. Don't bother emailing him because he doesn't have one of those yet.

Why In The Heck Are We Doing This?

The short answer: It sounded like a good idea at the time to Michael and Melinda. Well, she must not have been listening closely enough.

Most of the pool players in the U.S. play for recreation or in leagues. Many of them want to play better and learn how to play the games as well as they can. This one-year experiment's goal is to use this website to bring the best of pool to them.
